Plurk for Feb. 9th Professional Training

On Feb. 9th I will he hosting a number of 30 minute break out sessions. The training sessions are designed as hands on. To speed up the process I’m placing the information teachers need right here in this blog. This will also serve as a place teachers can return to review if they so choose

Step 1 .. Create an account with Plurk http://www.plurk.com  
         

Step 2 … Edit Profile by clicking on “Edit” beside “My Profile”
Step 3 … Start Plurking
Step 4 … If you like to find others out there. Click on someone whose already been plurking. Then click on “Show all friends”. With the list that shows you can search other profiles. If you find someone you like to plurk with while on their profile click “Add NAME as Friend”.
Fans are people who can see your plurk but can not respond.
Block .. keeps person from seeing or commenting on your plurk.

I asked other Plurkers how they organize the large number of resources that are shared on Plurk. Below are their responses. 

I will tell you my way is to create folders in my Bookmarks. Then I add them as they pop up. Read them when I have time. Here are others:
